Elections to the Guild of Hotels and Tourism

ENRIC BARTRÉS RENEWS FOR THREE MORE YEARS THE PRESIDENCY OF THE GUILD OF HOSTELRY AND TOURISM OF MATARÓ AND MARESME

In the general elective Assembly held on Wednesday 30 October, at the headquarters of the Gremio de Hostelería y Turismo de Mataró y lo Maresme, Mr. Enric Bartrés y Garcia was re-elected as President of the entity, a position that will exercise the next three years according to the statutory mandate.
The last three years Bartrés has already served as president, replacing the former Mr. Josep Civit in 2016.

With this unanimous election, Bartrés consolidates the leadership of the entity maresmenca with headquarters in Mataró, picking up the glove of the previous presidents. This Board of Directors is raised as a Board of continuity with readjustments and enlargement of members, going from 8 to 9 and with the perspective that the next months are incorporated in an interim 2 or 3 people more. The Board of the Guild is made up of a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 12 members.

Bartrés has presented a program for the triennium 2019-2022 volgudament continuista to continue with the planned objectives of recovery and relaunch of the entity, after the previous economic crisis. One of the objectives of the Guild, in line with that worked the last two years, especially with the City of Mataró and other entities, is to promote Mataró as “Gastronomic City. It also aims to expand the organization of the entity to the different neighborhoods of the city, starting with Cerdanyola.

Only Bartrés’s candidacy has been presented to the elections, which has been endorsed by about thirty guilds, as established by the current Statutes of the Guild. In the candidacy, that will distribute the next days the positions of the Board of Directors consist of gentlemen Sergi Vallbona Martínez, Jesús Martin Bàez, Josep Bou Ribas, Jordi Milà Noé, Mario Francesco Randazzo, Josep Civit Torrents, Modesto Trinidad Gálvez and Andrés Luque Vargas, these last two new incorporations to the Board of the Guild.
